NEW PROGRAM AT THE AMERICAN CORNER
NOVI SAD!
"BOOK CLUB"
The aim of the program is to develop interest for reading and give opportunity for people who like to read to discuss their impressions about the selected book. English language students will lead discussions. Each month a book will be chosen by participants suggestions. |

Book club for the month of June!
This month we decided to talk about the short story instead of whole book. It will be much more easier to find it and we hope that this will attract more people to join us. The selected story is Children of the Sea by American author of new generation Edwidge Danticat from her book of short stories "Krik? Krak!".
The discussion about the story "Children of the Sea" will take place at the American Corner on Thursday June 26th at 7.00 p.m.
Before coming read the story and prepare some remarks, thoughts and impressions that you would like to share with the rest of the people who read it.
Book lovers CU on 26th!
If you want to read this story please write on our e-mail address americkikutak@nscable.com and we will send it to you! |

WELCOME
TO AMERICAN CORNER |
|
|
|
We are pleased to inform you
that an American Corner opened on October 6th, 2004 in
Novi Sad. This project is the result of cooperation between
the Cultural Center of Novi Sad and the Public Affairs
of the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade.
The idea was to open an American-style library created
to help increase mutual understanding between Serbia and the United States by making available information
about America in a variety of formats. We offer books,
videos, CD-ROMs, Internet access, programs and a professional
bilingual librarian trained to help you find desired information
about the United States. |
